Thunderbird has teamed up with Emerald Transformer of McKinney, Texas to offer transformer oil sampling services to industrial/commercial and utility clients throughout New England. Emerald Transformer has been manufacturing and repairing transformers and other electrical equipment for more than 40 years. Moving forward, Thunderbird's skilled and reliable field staff will assist Emerald with collection of the appropriate waste oil characterization data needed to properly handle and transport used dielectric fluids that may contain polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs).
